Easter Bucket

Hey everyone!!

I know it’s been awhile since I posted.  Just been busy with these swaps I’ve become addicted to lately!!  It’s just so much fun to see what others come up with and inspire ideas of my own.  Here is an easter bucket I’m doing for my Easter swap.  We are taking a dozen eggs and filling them with something crafty like brads, eyelets, just anything that will fit in the eggs.  We can also, but don’t have to,  alter a basket or some kind of cantainer to put our eggs in and it will be swap with one that someone else did.  I used a clear paint can that I got from a naked swap I did in December.  It made the cutest Easter bucket so I just had to share.  Hope you all had a great weekend!!!    Wendy

Join Me!!

Hey everyone!!  Wanted to tell you about a fun new swap I am hosting on Splitcoaststampers.

I have a hard time coming up with cards for the men in my life….my husband and teenage boys (my 5 yr. old is easy)   So anyway I decided to host one for everyone to design a MALE card.  You do 5 +1 and send them to me and in return you get 5 different cards back.  You should check it out!! It will be a lot of fun.  And the one that my husband likes the best will win a prize.  Michele will also be hosting some too.  I will post them as soon as they are ready 🙂

Card Swaps

Good Morning everyone!!  Hope you all had a great week!!  Mine was okay getting everyone back in the routine of getting up early for school.  But they survived…haha  I did find time to make a couple of cards yesterday for my swap on Splitcoaststampers.  This swap is a monthly card swap where 3 people are chosen each month to receive a card from everyone in the group.  So I decided to get a little ahead and make my cards to send out for February, and once my creativity started, I was on a roll so I also made my cards for March!!!

I just stamped a simple heart on the inside so personal sentiments can be written.

This one with the butterfly is my favorite.  It is even prettier in person!!

Getting Organized!!!

Yes, once again, my new year resolution!  I get organized but then it’s not long until I need to do it all over again.  So, guess I should say I’m going to stay organized this year.  Michele found the blog to these cute shelves at Rebel Inker.  My sweet husband made the one for my ink pads, and bless his heart, it took him 3 hours+.  I wasn’t even going to ask him to make another one…hehehe And Michele’s husband made her one, and was not looking forward to making her another one for her ribbon.  So I decided to give it a try.  It was a piece of cake.  I had it finished in 1 hour….lol  And then I decided to come up with one that would hold my markers.  So, I’m on my way to organization!!!

Hey Everyone,

Hope you all had a great Christmas!!  Mine was!!  I spent Christmas day walking on the beach with my hubby and boys, picking up seashells.  Out of the ordinary for us, but it will definitely be one we will remember!!  So how are all of you ringing in the New Year.  We will probably get some Chinese take out and watch a movie.  That is our tradition.

Haven’t done much crafting lately with Christmas activities going on.  I have made a couple of things, but I’m not going to post them yet, because they were made for someone, and I don’t want them to see them on here.
