Love You Much

Posted by creativemindsstampalike on December 28, 2008

Hey Everyone,

Hope you all had a great Christmas!!  Mine was!!  I spent Christmas day walking on the beach with my hubby and boys, picking up seashells.  Out of the ordinary for us, but it will definitely be one we will remember!!  So how are all of you ringing in the New Year.  We will probably get some Chinese take out and watch a movie.  That is our tradition.

Haven’t done much crafting lately with Christmas activities going on.  I have made a couple of things, but I’m not going to post them yet, because they were made for someone, and I don’t want them to see them on here.

I just wanted to take a moment to let you all know about the newest promotion from Stampin’ Up!®.  This will be great for all your Valentine crafting.  And it is available until January 31 at 20% off.  I can’t wait to get mine.  If you would like to order yours visit my website at http://wendybonner.stampinup.net or contact me by email or phone.

Hope you all have a great New Year’s eve and day!!!

Wendy

We Whisk You a Merry Christmas

Posted by creativemindsstampalike on December 21, 2008

whisksHey everyone!!

Guess you all are getting ready for Christmas, doing last minute shopping and gift making.

I just had to share this absolutely CUTE project my BFF Kim did for her co-workers.  She just took a wire wisk, filled it with goodies, attached ribbon and a tag.  Now how cute is that?!?!?       I actually thought about making a few to have on hand in case an unexpected visitor drops by.  And you could adapt it to any occassion.

So, I will say:  We “whisk” you a Merry Christmas :)

Good Morning Stampers,

I hope of you are having a blessed Christmas Season!  I cant believe it will be here in 15 days.  It is almost the 12 days of Christmas.  We will try to do something special for you for the 12 days of Christmas.  Today I have for you a fun Tootsie Pop holder (you could also use Blow Pops).  I made 16 of these in no time flat. So easy.  I saw a picture of them on Splitcoasters.com, and I just revamped them for the item that I had.  Hope you can try one soon.

Recipe I used:
12×12 paper cut 21/2×11  (SU)
score at 7, 5, & 1 1/16
I stamped strip with the present stamp from the Deer Friends stamp set  (SU)
tree stamp from the Deer Friends stamp set  (SU)
I wrapped my sucker in green tissue paper and tied with a ribbon and glue doted to the bottom

I know this sound so confusing…Once you score you cans see how it goes together.  If you have any questions please feel free to email us.

Have a great Christmas and enjoy craftin!
Blessing,
Michele

Hello Stampers,
How is your Christmas Craftin going?  Can you believe that it is only 22 days til Santa Comes?  I cant believe it…it seems like last Christmas was just yesterday.  Today we are going to show you a quick last minute Christmas gift for your co-workers, friends or family.

“Marbled Tile”
 Marbled Tiles

* tile from Office Depot (I think– 9 in box for about $6.00)
* stazon ink from Stampin Up (color of your choice, I used black)
* stamp letters (I used Lovely Letters from SU)
* designer stamp (I used the corner “L” stamp from the retired Doodle This Stamp set)
* can of artist fixative to spray to keep your color
* can of sealer to keep your ink on the tile
* package of sticky felt circles found in the hardward section at Wal-Mart (pkg of 48 $5.22) I used 4 per tile
* SU markers or chalk to put color on you tile (I used SU markers)

Directions:
Wash tile
Spray tile with sealer, allow to dry for 30 minutes  (Wal-Mart for about $4)
Stamp on tile, color
Spray with fixative spray (Hobby Lobby $8), allow to dry for 30 minutes
Then spray with sealer again, allow to dry for another 30 minutes
Last step, place felt pieces on the bottom.

Look on SCS and you can see many other designs.

Enjoy!
This is a quick gift and it is so pretty once you are done.

**With the 2 cans of spray I was able to make about 34 tiles and I still have a half a can of each spray left**

Happy Stampin.  Best wishes on getting all of your projects complete on time.  Im off to stamp more!
Merry Christmas!
Michele

Christmas Gift Bag

Posted by creativemindsstampalike on December 2, 2008

Hey everybody!

Hope you all are having a great week so far and are getting some Christmas crafts done.  I finally got to sit down today and do some crafting for the first time in over a week.  So, I just wanted to share with you this gift bag I made.  This is one of my favorite things I’ve made so far, and it is super easy.  And of course it is made with all Stampin’ Up products except for the white paper bag and a scrap of blue ribbon.  No, it’s not my idea, I copied it.  I hope you like it and if you want directions just email me and I will be glad to send them to you.  Be sure to comment on it so I know what you think. Oh, be sure to check out my music I added on the right. I will be putting more Christmas Music soon.  Hope you have a great day!!  Off to make a new cookie recipe!!! 🙂
